Bouganvillea removed from tree
Bouganvillea removed from tree
This job was in Bicton for a client who had just bought a new property and wanted to reveal the beauty of the tree again. Bouganvillea had been left to grow wild and was through at least 80% of the canopy. Once the overgrown plant was removed, it was a very rewarding job done.
Leaving trees to grow wild without maintaining it is an all too common scenario with most home owners. However, for this lucky client, they were able to reveal the beauty of the tree again.
Why is tree thinning important?
The importance of tree thinning can be broken down into three main categories.
Tree thinning is, in essence, the selective process of eliminating unwanted branches that are either unappealing, dead or preventing sunlight from reaching the canopy in order to preserve your safety, the tree’s health and aesthetics.
Safety
The reason why tree thinning is important with regards to safety is because dead branches will eventually fall down. It is often difficult to tell when it will fall down on passer-by pedestrians or even family members at any given moment!
Therefore, it is important to consider the safety measures that you can take to prevent these accidents from happening.
Tree health
Tree thinning is, in essence, the selective process of eliminating unwanted branches that are either unappealing, dead or preventing sunlight from reaching the canopy. The benefit of this is it ensures that the dead branches are removed from the tree to avoid it affecting the tree’s health. As a result of preserving its health, the tree’s lifespan could be extended as a result. This is important because it can avoid you having to hire a tree cutter to cut down a dead tree which could cost you a lot more than simply maintaining it.
Aesthetics
By selectively eliminating unwanted branches that are unappealing, you will be improving the tree’s aesthetics by making it look healthier again. The difference between a well maintained tree and a wild one can be very obvious even to an untrained eye. Furthermore, it will improve the overall appearance of your property as well which could have additional benefits such as making it easier to sell or lease your property.
